Collection of Personal Data

Megamind Tuition Singapore generally obtains personal data and information in several ways as listed below, through our regular business operations, services and procedures. All personal data and information are collected and stored for various business needs. Megamind Tuition Singapore will not collect any information from its not relating to our regular business needs and procedures.

- Voluntary user account sign-ups

When setting up an account with Megamind Tuition Singapore, both tutors and tutees alike, you will be prompted to input various personal information for our verification and controls. These information would be relevant and material for our in-application algorithm to match each unique job listed to the right users.

Financial and banking information shall be retained by Megamind Tuition Singapore for the purpose of payment collections and disbursements.

- Facebook Login

If you choose to sign in using Facebook Login, we will receive your public profile information from Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”), such as your name, profile picture and email address (if available). This information is used solely to create and authenticate your Megamind Tuition Singapore account and to allow you to access our services.

- Possible data procured by other means

Interactions on Megamind Tuition Singapore’s social media pages and posts will be monitored and from time to time retained for our business purposes, if need be. Megamind Tuition Singapore might host contests and events on our social media pages, and shall retain necessary information in order to further verify and contact applicants, should there be a need.

- General feedback collected from users

Private Messaging Chat-Box

Users are able to further interact through the in-application private messaging chat-box within Megamind Tuition Singapore’s mobile application. Chat history shall be archived in our database and shall be reviewed in situation where conflicts or disagreements arise. Should there be a need, these information shall be further handled to the local authorities for records and investigation purposes.

Personal Data of Minors Under the Age of Eighteen

All users and visitors with access and/or usage to any/all the functions and services provided by Megamind Tuition Singapore shall be at least eighteen years of age. Any users or visitors below the age of eighteen upon the time of usage and procurement of our services shall be deemed to have their parental/guardian consent and acceptance to all the terms and conditions. Personal data and information provided to Megamind Tuition Singapore for minors under the age of eighteen shall be deemed to have their parental/guardian consent and agreement.

Data Deletion Information and Processes

Objective: This guide will walk you through the process of deleting your account in Megamind app. Please follow the steps below to complete this action.

Step 1: Accessing Account Information

Step 2: Locating the Delete Account Button

In the bottom navigation menu, locate and click on the "Profile" section which contains your account-related settings. Scroll all the way down to locate Delete account button.

Step 3: Confirming Account Deletion

By clicking the "Delete Account" button. You will be prompted to confirm your decision. Read the confirmation message carefully. Click yes to confirm account deletion.

Requesting Data Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to request deletion manually, you may email us at megamindtuitionsg@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and provide the email address or mobile number associated with your account. Upon receiving your request and verifying your identity, we will delete your account and the personal data associated with it from our active systems in accordance with our internal retention policies and applicable law, and we will notify you once this has been completed.

Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

If you have used Facebook Login to access Megamind Tuition Singapore, you may request deletion of the data we have received from Facebook in the following ways:

1. Use the “Delete Account” option as described above; or
2. Send an email to megamindtuitionsg@gmail.com as described above
